First, thanks you for taking time to participate in this project.
1 - Make your files ready
a) Date & time informations :
Often, your video or photo file contain datas about Date & Time. Theses are very usefull to me if they are acurate.
So, if you know how to check it, and if your camera have an accurate time (or you can fix it, simply shoot a clock, see the difference, and you will be fixed !).
Please write it in the name of your file in this way :
HH-MM-SS(your filename).(mp4/avi/jpg/mov...)
HH is hour in 24h format
MM is minutes
SS is seconds if you have, if not please write XX instead.
If you don't know about theses things, just let files as they are.
b) File itself :
Please don't zip/convert/recompress it, except if it's very specific file format (.raw pictures)
2 - Upload !
a) What do I need ?
You need an FTP client. If you need advice, I would recommend you FileZilla. It's opensource and free. You can download it there : http://filezilla-project.org/download.php?type=client
Server adress is : asot450.zik.dj
login is : asot450
password is : armin
b) How should I place my files ?
just create a folder in one of "main" folders (Dj Name), with you "shortname". And send your files in your dedicated folder.
When you have sent everything you can/want to share, please send to me an e-mail at ocal586@gmail.com, with what you want be writted on videos : Shortname (e-mail adress if you prefer), and where you come from : City and Country.
